Here are more verses, beginning as early as Job (one of the really early books of the Bible) and as late as the first letter of John (one of the very last). Want more? When you read the Bible, keep an eye out for the scores of other scriptures affirming this truth. Repetitious? Oh, yes. God wants to drill this into our hearts. As many assurances as we have been given, even just a single verse or passage, taken to heart, can open the door to a positive confidence in God's love and power to keep us.

JOB 19:25-26  For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on  the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I  shall see God,

PSALM 17:15  As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be  satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

PSALM 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I  will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they  comfort me.

PSALM 42:11  Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

PSALM 73:26  My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my  heart and my portion forever.

LUKE 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed...

JOHN 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,  that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

JOHN 3:36  He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does  not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

ROMANS 5:1  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with  God through our Lord Jesus Christ...

ROMANS 8:16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are  children of God...

2CO 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2CO 13:5  Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Prove yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?-- unless indeed you are disqualified [unless you didn't really trust Christ in the first place.].

PHILLIPIANS 1:6  being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun  a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

PHILLIPIANS 3:21  who will transform our lowly body that it may be  conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is  able even to subdue all things to Himself.

II TIMOTHY 1:12  For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He  is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

HEBREWS 6:19  This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and  steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil...

I JOHN  2:5  But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected  in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

I JOHN  3:2  Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been  revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall  be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

I JOHN  5:12-13  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son  of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
