Much that masquerades for Christianity today is a far cry from scripture. The cults are not the only culprits; Much error exists within orthodoxy itself. The apostle Paul warned against the false teaching that would come, and 2,000 years of men adding to and taking from God's word has taken its toll.

No believer dare rest his faith on any teaching not in accord with scripture. How will you discern error if unfamiliar with the Truth? If someone were to ask you, can you give a scriptural answer for what you believe?
