Be like the church of Berea who, after hearing no less a one than the apostle Paul declare the gospel, checked out what he said as we read in Acts 17:11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. How much more important that no one should accept our words alone but, with an unbiased attitude, search the scriptures to see if these things be so.
